However, when Kate stepped out in London last night the frock had been not only recycled but refashioned. The off the shoulder dress was altered and now features figure hugging cap sleeves. Flying solo, she combined her gown with her Prada clutch and soft curls. Kate certainly proves she is the queen of recycling and refashioning!
The stunning white flowery stitched gown shows that some florals do really never got out of fashion. Walking around the gallery, which is home to Kate’s first official portrait by Paul Emsley which was unveiled in 2012, she was gifted a bouquet of flowers complimenting her evening wear.
Smiling through the night Kate was spotted with stars including David and Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Bianca Jagger.
Not the only royals to attend the gala, tipped to wed, Prince William’s cousin Princess Beatrice and partner Edoardo Mapelli Mozi were also seen mingling with at the star-studded affair.
This is the third gala evening Kate has attended and she is set to continue her role as royal patron of the National Gallery.
