Similar to last year's card, the royal couple's two children - George, 4 and Charlotte, 2 - take centre stage in front of their parents. The whole family opted for a blue theme.
The adorable picture was taken by Chris Jackson, royal photographer for Getty Images. The image was taken earlier in the year, with royal watchers assuming it was taken on the same day as Prince George's 4th birthday image, as he is wearing the same outfit.
Alongside the image, Jackson wrote, 'Delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to use this family portrait I shot as their Christmas Card this year. Merry Christmas!'
Also announced by the royal family was that Princess Charlotte would be attending the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018.
The announcement read, 'Their Royal Highnesses have also announced this morning that Princess Charlotte will attend the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018.
The Willcocks Nursery School has said: 'We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January.''
