'I’ve had his face painted countless times, though whatever is in your product is horrific.
'I’d like to see this product discontinued in case another child has to go through this or the parent that’s scared for her/his child. What rubbish!' the worried mum wrote.
A spokeswoman from Woolworths told 7News Online this was the first complaint it has received about the product since it was introduced earlier this month.
'We always work hard with our suppliers to ensure all products supplied meet the safety and quality standards our customers expect,' she said.
