'I found out immediately after we filmed the first episode,' a smiling Aly, 25, tells New Idea.
'So I was in my first trimester during filming!'
The couple - who have been together for two years - are over the moon about the arrival of their baby boy, who is due in April.
'I'm so stoked, I can't wait,' gushes proud dad Matt.
While the pair still have their eyes on the prize, they admit the happy news allowed them to keep their feet on the ground.
'There was always something a bit bigger going on, so we didn't stress too much about the show,' mum-to-be Aly admits.
One thing she did have to contend with, unfortunately, was morning sickness!
'Yeah, it wasn't great,' she says, laughing.
'I could manage it with medication. If I got on top of it first thing in the day, it was generally not so bad.'
As for more babies, there's no doubts about their plans!
'I dare say it won't just be one,' Matt, 26, says.
