Glancing across the road a flash of blue and white was running in the opposite direction.
Pulling over, he jumped out of his car to investigate further – that’s when he found a lost and frightened pup wearing pajamas.
‘Got in front of him, and he kind of stopped and was a little nervous-looking but interested,' Goldsmith told The Dodo. 'So I just grabbed onto him and he was very docile.’
Scooping him up Kristopher made him a makeshift leash and instantly the pooch snuggled into his lap.
In that moment Kristopher knew he had no choice other than to bring the dog to work with him.
On the pups tag was a number for a pet vaccination clinic. Dialing the number Kristopher learnt the pups name was Frosting and he was eight months old. They then promised to get in touch with the owner but due to privacy reasons couldn’t pass out their details.
Putting his adventurous day on his twitter account Kristopher was sure someone would be missing such an adorable dog.
Meanwhile at work Frosting wouldn’t leave his side.
‘He’s very clingy, he definitely wants to be a lapdog, I tried to use my standing desk and he would stand up and put his paws on me,’ Kristopher spoke to The Dodo
Back at home with his wife the pair were already looking to adopt a small dog and instantly the trio bonded.
The weeks passed and no one had come to claim Frosting and Kristopher told The Dodo
‘My wife is already attached to the dog, she might die of a broken heart if we couldn't keep him,’ he said to The Dodo.
Now a member of the family these three were meant to be.
