The red-haired Duchess of York was on a trip to Australia in 2003 when tragedy struck her family.
According to Express.co.uk, the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie managed to sit through an interview on the Today show just moments after finding out her 71-year-old father Ronald had suffered a deadly heart attack.
In a candid interview about the harrowing experience Fergie said: 'Sitting there sobbing, my father would have said "what are you doing? You have your obligations".'

The Duchesses father was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1996 and had skin cancer, he suffered an earlier heart attack in 2002.
