The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are at the centre of a road accident, after a motorcycle escort crashed into and injured an elderly woman.
Prince William and Kate were headed to a royal appointment in Windsor on Tuesday, when a police motorbike was involved in a collision with an 83-year-old woman in southwest London.

The collision happened after the Duke and Duchess attended a horseracing event at Royal Ascot.
The elderly woman was rushed to hospital in a critical condition - but her condition has since been upgraded to serious, according to AAP.
A statement by Kensington Palace confirmed the royal couple were aware of the accident and are 'deeply concerned and saddened'.
'Their Royal Highnesses have sent their very best wishes to Irene and her family and will stay in touch throughout every stage of her recovery,' the statement said.
It is understood the Duke and Duchess have also sent the woman flowers and plan on visiting her in hospital.
The The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is currently investigating the circumstances of the crash.
